Andrés Suárez González received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the University of Vigo, Spain, in 1991 and 2000, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Telematics Engineering, University of Vigo, where he is also an affiliated member of the colocated Networking Laboratory. His research interests include event-driven simulation, quality of service in Internet and performance analysis of computer networks. He has authored over 30 papers in peer-reviewed international conferences and journals, most of them with a high impact factor (Q1 and Q2 quartiles) in the “WOS-Journal Citation Report”. He has an h-index value of 7 (Scopus).
